Camel!

It was men’s color trend 2014!

It is still the daily men’s color choice for outerwear!

It screams sophistication, elegance and code conservation!

If you walk by the streets daily, you won’t fail to spot a gentleman in the color. For sure, it is dominating  among all colors in the men’s wear.  You’ll spot men in camel coats, shoes, hats, pants…oh my! The list is endless, but why? Because the color conveys luxury and a timeless elegance apart from it’s neutral nature hence can be switched up easily for blacks and navies and grays.

And because of this…because of the classic aura of the color, even women are taking up the trend! I mean, who can be left out??? Mostly, many are embracing it as a color for the cold where they style it up effortlessly.

Camel Looks Like?

Camel is an earthy tone, I can easily describe it as the browns. Now we know how they look like, right?

Best Shades Come In?

Since camel is considered as a fall color, it looks best for outerwear like coats, blazers and knits like jumpers and sweaters.

Also, it is good for bottom wear like pants and suede skirts. Great bottoms are of skinny silhouettes than airy ones; like: skinny pants and pencil skirts.

Camel shoes are also adorable and easy to maintain, right? Especially when they’re flat ankle boots.

And what do you think about a camel bag? Well, it’s a must-have! And I mean, who wouldn’t want one?

How To Wear Camel

  • When dressing up the color, consider earthy tones as well like orange or different hues of brown. Or, consider neutrals like blacks and whites.
  • If you opt for to wear camel in a full ensemble, then let it be suited. As in, it looks best when a full suit is in the color.
  • Be proportional when balancing your look. Do not over-layer unless you want to look like an Eskimo but be subtle. This will help you avoid looking too bulky.

My Camel Look

Oh lovelies! I got a cute hoodie dress made of genuine leather.  For a sophisticated aura, I threw my hoodie over a black set of a pair of shorts, a lace crop top and fishnet tights ; then cinched my waist with yet again….A CAMEL FRINGE BELT!!!

Too much color, right? But it’s just so easy to wear camel!

She runs little-verons ;Going by the tagline: style is a way to say who you are without having to speak, you can be sure to expect fantastic style inspo! How true!

That’s so true Jennifer. I’m definitely keeping my camel staple so well for time to come. Wonder why it won’t look good on you as you say? I think it depends with how your pair; blacks will always spice up any camel outfit. You could try that for sure. Hugs!
