HOW TO SPOT BALLET SLIPPER PINK
Ballet slipper pink is a soft shade of pink. It is a shade of pink with more white that it looks as light pink.
BEST BALLET SLIPPER PINKS COME IN?
For the most of the time I’ve been observant around with colors, I’ve noted that they mostly come in knitted tops, knitted sweater dresses and shirt dresses, and chiffon tops. Or rather, tops! And I can say that that was a really nice choice because they are so lovable.
I’ve been able to see a few suits in ballet pink and I’d advise going for perfect tailoring for your suit if you consider wearing a monochromatic look. For a fact, I’ve even fallen in love with such suits and I’m also getting mine tailored (although in hot pink! Ouch!)
HOW TO WEAR BALLET SLIPPER PINK
- Ballet slipper pink is a really soft color and one has to really mind it when wearing the color. It is so important to consider what kind of pair you choose for your pink.
- Avoid pairing the color with really bold colors but if you have to have some bold colors, then keep it in the same family of pink but just go for deep shades of pink like hot pink or fuchsia. This will be a well though-of combination trust me. As well, you can just try a combination of only two bold colors like this pink and red.
- For the very easy ensemble, pair ballet pink with whites or blacks. These are neutrals that will forever go with I can say every other color.
- Since ballet slipper pink is a soft color, it is very hard to wear it and look great. Thus, opt for great pieces to wear. I mean, polished pieces or rather high-end pieces are best for soft colors. So even if you’re thrifting for the color, opt for nice fabrics like knitted fabrics or chiffon; these are just some of the awesome fabrics you can have for your color pink.
ACCESSORIZING BALLET SLIPPER PINK
Logically, the normal stylista will dress pink with neutrals and blacks and leave it there but the splendid stylista will go an extra mile and accompany the look with matching and soft-colored accessories in order to liven up the look. I mean…ain’t accessories every lady’s best friend? They’ll polish this subtle and quite look for you.
I went for a pair of earrings with shades of ballet pink, light pink and light purple; all in the same family thus a nice accessory. I didn’t miss my white cap too lovelies.
HOW I WORE MY BALLET SLIPPER PINK
We know that over-sized is the way to go in 2018…the trend was massive in 2017 and is still here to stay. Over-sized rocked from pants to outerwear to tops…and much more. Over-sized is so versatile and is no longer an outfit for the plus size since even petites are embracing the look and really looking too gorgeous in it.
It can be styled in a number of ways: either that way like anyone would wear a shirt dress, belted up or cinched with cute corsets, layered over outfits or even tuck in at the front into a mullet top style. I wonder which style you would love?
FOR MY MAKEUP;
Ballet pink is a cool color so it looks too good with nude makeup or makeup that’s pink too…mmh! I opted for a nude makeup look but for my lips, was hot pink! Kisses…
If you’re still thinking about getting a soft color, then don’t think too much; just get ballet slipper pink and you’ll love it. I’d love to know your thoughts on my OOTD…
